Hi, I'm Ilya Snoeijs, a 24-year-old navigating life with food allergies. Growing up, I faced the constant challenge of avoiding milk, eggs, and nuts. While I managed to overcome my allergies to milk and eggs, a severe nut allergy continues to affect my life every day.

It wasn’t just my challenge—it was a family effort. My parents had the constant task of keeping me safe, carefully managing my diet and ensuring I avoided any potential allergens. Dining out as a family was always a risk, filled with anxiety about hidden ingredients and cross-contamination.

I started Safe Allergies because I understand firsthand the fear, stress, and uncertainty that come with eating out. People with food allergies deserve more than just guesswork; they need reliable information to dine out confidently. Safe Allergies is here to change how people with food allergies experience restaurants. Together, we can make dining safer, simpler, and more enjoyable for everyone.
